Just read Phil Taylor’s ‘progress report’ on SP1. Still more patience needed I’m afraid, folks. ;-)

Being selfish here; I am not so much worried for the FSX users.. they’ll get their SP1 eventually, hopefully before this weekend. But every day our beta testers are without it means a day delay in progressing our add-on projects. THAT has been hurting us for many months now. Not only development/testing is delayed because of FSX’s problems and waiting for solutions, also sales have gone through the floor because (potential) customers are either waiting for a better FSX (and add-ons for it) or still buying FS2004 add-ons (for which we can hardly develop any new ones).

In all honesty, the past 6 months have had me wondering often if I made the right decision to continue in this line of work or not….. If it weren’t also my hobby for the past 30+ years, and if I should approach this purely from a business standpoint, I’d probably have folded.

As it is now…. we survived so far, albeit partly on our savings, and hopefully business will pick up again in the weeks to come.

Here’s hoping ! ;-)
