My company is Silver Cloud Publishing, and it contains many different activities that I am involved in. Over time I meet people and companies with whom I work to enhance my own products and services, and whom I help to improve theirs. These partners are listed below.

Motor Touring and Travel Activities:

Ardane is a Bed & Breakfast in Germany run by our friends Usrula and Erick Barkhuis. Erick is a BMW rider and the first one I ever met after I bought my own bike. He and Ursula moved to Germany, just over the Dutch border, in the small village of Osterwald near Nordhorn, and have a wonderful Bed & BREAKFAST (which is MORE than just a few breadrolls and some jam!). They offer lost of help for making walks, tours and RIDES in the vicinity! Their site is here.

Le Mont Gouje is a Normandy farm of the 17th century, fully restored, with modern amenities (fully equipped kitchen, tv, sitting room, laundry room), a private swimming pool and leisure area. It is owned by our friends Carole and Philippe Bréant, who live in the equally old house next door, housing a separate Bed & Breakfast. St. Maclou is the village, situated in the rural Eure department, on the border with Normandy and only 20 miles from the sea. Le Mont Gouje is our primary ‘base’ for the EuropeRide Normandy Tours! You can find their web site here

The Gîte and attached Bed and Breakfast of Catherine and Philippe Deprez is another place for Normandy visitors to rest their weary heads and enjoy peace and quiet. The Deprez family are friends of the Bréants and warmly recommended. Their Chambre d’Hôtes web page is here. The place is located at La Cambe, 6 km from Grandcamp Maisy, a little town on the seaside at the westernmost tip of ‘Omaha Beach’ and near Pointe du Hoc. A great ‘base’ for Normandy recce trips !

Gasthof Zum Hirschen.

Actually, I was NOT going to tell you about them, because we might not find a place for ourselves anymore. But truth is they have one of the best hotels in the Dolomite region, even if they are a bit out of the trodden path. We’ve always enjoyed our stays, the kitchen is fabulous and CHEAP, the area wonderful and the people VERY friendly. Special bike parking too and tour maps available!
